Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order (FSO), anyone
who has control of premises or who has a degree of control over
certain areas is responsible for providing proof of compliance
through the completion of a risk assessment. Failure to do so
could result in a fine or imprisonment (or both) and would
invalidate any building insurance!
An FSO Maintenance Contract with DORMA can form part of the control measures required in your risk assessment. An FSO contract includes:
» 2 visits to your premises per year to check and maintain all the doors on site(s) including automatic, manual and industrial doors to ensure they are in good working order
» Checks to the integrity of all your fire doors and that your panic devices work correctly on escape doors
» A report on any problems which should form part of your risk assessment
» Advice on how to complete the daily and weekly checks for this equipment that should also form part of your risk assessment.
» but most of all we will give you peace of mind.
